Workers’ wardrobes

Well, we’ve been intimately connected with the current wardrobes of all the ‘Sixers’ on this challenge… So what does a garment worker’s wardrobe look like?

This is somebody’s wardrobe, hanging up on the wall, in the garment producing area of Gurgaon in India… as you can see the wardrobe is in the kitchen of this worker’s one-room home.

Here in Bangladesh, many workers’ wardrobes crowd the walls of this dwelling space where a number of workers live together.

The wardrobe’s out on the balcony in a workers’ compound in cambodia – workers share their room spaces with several others as rent is high in comparison to the £39 per month wage so space is always a bit squeezed.
